Green and pink flashing screen trying to watch trailers or movies in itunes.

I keep getting a green and pink flashing screen when I try to watch trailers or movies in itunes. I have seen fixes for this for Windows systems but not Mac. Can someone help me out? I've purchased a movie to rent that expires in 48 hours. Thanks.

MacBook Air (11-inch Mid 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.5), Itunes 11 - fully updated

power down your machine and do a hard reset on the video card. hit the power button wait for the ping sound then hold down COMMAND OPTION R AND P keys all at the same time till you hear a ping again and release. This should fix the problem.
