For some reason, my iPhone 4 has stopped getting internet access when on wi fi. It gets on the network fine, and all other devices have no problem with this wi-fi connection (Airport Extreme). The phone gets on the web fine w/3G. I've reset everthing, and even restore the phone's software. Weird. HAve reset, restored, etc. Any Ideas?

Reboot the Airport Extreme by removing its power for 15 seconds or so. Or use the Airport Utility to reset it.
I tried this, and unfortunately it didn't work. Still have the same situation as before (and I reset the network again and still no go).
Does the phone recognize other WiFi networks? Can you turn WiFi on and off in Settings/Wifi?
Yes, it can rocognize other networks and I can turn WiFi on and off. it's very bizarre.
on the iPhone, go into settings>wifi, then click on your wifi network. Go to "dns" and replace whatever is there with the numbers "8.8.8.8"
If that doesn't work, there may be something going on with your Airport.Reset the Airport to factory settings and reset it up
Have you enabled MAC filtering on the router? This is a feature that limits use of the network to known devices. Also, there is a setting for the number of devices that can be connected concurrently.
Do MAC address filtering issues occur with networks created by airports? I know that wireless multimedia issues don't occur, wasn't aware MAC address issues occured
It's not an issue, it's a feature of most routers. It's disabled by default, but you can choose to enable it. If it's enabled the Media Access addresses ("WiFi address") of allowed devices must be listed in the Media Access Control (MAC) list in the router's settings.
This is a workaround, not a solution. It changes the iPhone's DNS server to Google's free DNS, and will only solve the problem if there is a DNS misconfiguration in the router. The downside is the iPhone will not be able to sync over WiFi.

Which means it wasn't a DNS misconfiguration. Use iTunes to restore the phone and set up as a New phone (you can restore your backup later). If the problem persists on all networks you have a hardware problem. If the problem persists only on your home network the problem is your router or its settings,
It still seems to work OK with networks other than mine. I've reset everything, and it still gets on the network fine but can't access the web. What's really bizarre to me is that it's worked fine on this network literallly for years, and nothing I can think of has changed. Weird stuff.
I saw a suggestion in another thread to change the WiFi channel in the Airport Extreme. It is probably now on Automatic; change it to some other, single channel other that 6 or 11 (the default channels). It worked for the person who made this change.
