Stop iPhoto from opening when I insert a memory card

How can I stop iPhoto from automatically opening when I insert a memory card w/ pictures on it into my mem card reader?

PowerMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Open the Image Capture application and turn off the option to open iPhoto when a camera is connected from the Preferences menu, and if that doesn't work, change the settings in the CDs & DVDs pane of System Preferences.
