Q: Was told by iPad user that with AT&T can start a cellular data plan and if I turn it off before 30 days, I will be billed for that month only and not again until I turn it back on. What has been your experience?
Was told by iPad user that with AT&T I can start the cellular data and will be billed for only 30 days if I turn it off before 30 days is up. Then I won't be billed again until I turn it on again which could be months later. Have you also found this to be true? What is your experience? Thanks.

Yes, you can cencel auto renew at any time. You can skip a month and then add data again whenever you want. After two months of inactivity, you will need to create a new account though.
