Using a laptop as monitor?
Does anyone know if I could use my G3 ibook as a monitor for a Mac mini?

Sort of. You can enable VNC or Apple Remote Desktop on the mini and then view the mini's display on your iBook. I've got mine hooked up to a TV and then use either Front Row or VNC to access it.
I use VNC to view my mini on a laptop. It works quite well, but doesn't handle things like animations and video too well.
You could use "OSXVNC" as the server on the mini, then you could use "Chicken of the VNC" as the client on the laptop.
In theory you might be able to remove the screen from the iBook and figure out the pinout for the pannel's connector, then make an adapter to connect to the mini.
