I am trying to get the music from my iPod touch 4th generation onto my computer, but everything I've tried doesn't work. Anyone know how to do this?
Try using Phone to PC.
iTunes Store- Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
For non-iTunes purchased music you need a third-party program like one of those discussed here:
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device: Apple Support Communities
I didn't buy the content on my iPod......... I got it off of a CD. Do you know how to do that?
Did you read my post's first line?
Is it free? It doesn't say on the page.
No, it isn't free. None of those utilities are free. If you want free, then you will have to use one of the other alternatives I suggested or, in your case, re-rip the tracks from the CDs. Unless you think your time is worth more than $20.
I don't have the CDs anymore. Thank you anyway.
iFunBox is free.
