HELP!! PAGES When I clicked reduce the size it reduced the QUALITY!!

I created many documents with photos and descriptions. I then clicked reduce file size. Now all my pictures are dark and fuzzy. I spent too much time on all of this to have to redo it. Is there anything I can do to save my project without having to replace each phote? I don't care about the size anymore just getting back my project without have to take and replace each phote. This project is many pages!!!!
