Q: invalid sim and no sim message with iphone 4s?

i have recently been getting the "no sim" or "invalid sim" message on my iphone 4s. iv tried all that i know from removeing the card and putting it back in, rebooting phone seems to work 4/10 of the time and will get the same message after like a half hour. i took my iphone to the bell store and bought a new sim card and im still getting this message so i do not think its the sim card itself??? any ideas on how to fix this? it is very annoying

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.4

iv done everything this artical has said to do and still get this message. it was working fine to a couple of days ago

Well, you could mail it via Apple Care if you do not want to go to the store. I can understand, as my closest Apple store is 2 hours away. However, since you have already done everything in the troubleshooting and have gotten a new SIM and it is still not working, then Apple is the next step.
