Q: Why won't Power Nap appear in Energy Saver Preferences?
Why won't Power Nap appear in Energy Saver Preferences? And how would I enable it?
I'm running a mid-2012 MacBook Pro I've attached a screenshot of my specs if that helps.
MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

As the other users said, Power Nap is compatible with Late 2010 and newer MacBooks Air and the MacBook Pro with Retina display. If you have a look at the screenshot, you will see that it doesn't mention the MacBook Pro with Retina display, so you haven't got one.
Power Nap requires flash storage, thing that only the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro with Retina display have got, and also it requires a special firmware that is only available for those Macs, making impossible to enable Power Nap in your computer
