Q: My PC turned off in the middle of the uploading, how do I get the Mac to connect to my old PC again?

I don't know how to fix this. If anybody could help me I would appreciate it so much!

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

In Migration Assistant, the only way is by holding the Power button. You have to hold the Power button for some seconds until the Mac turns off

Welcome to Apple Support Communities

To transfer files from another PC, you need a code that you have to insert in your Mac. As the code will be different, you have to turn off your Mac and start the migration again as you did it. Unfortunately, you can't do anything more

Thank you :) Is there another way to turn off the Mac besides the power button? It won't turn off that way..
