AWStats Permissions

Hiya folks.

Well, AWStats is working...somewhat. I'm having permissions issues:

sudo perl awstats.pl -config=old -update

Create/Update database for config "./awstats.old.conf" by AWStats version 7.1.1 (build 1.989)

From data in log file "/var/log/apache2/access_log |"...

Error: Couldn't open server log file "/var/log/apache2/access_log |" : Permission denied

Setup ('./awstats.old.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.

Here are permissions for that old access_log:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 45M 11 Jul 02:17 access_log

Apache runs as the nobody user, and it can't seem to get into this file. It's readable, but it can't open the file. I don't know why.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers
