Jul 11, 2013 8:57 AM in response to Arnbergby varjak paw,iTunes Match allows a maximum of 25,000 tracks, not including any tracks purchased from the iTunes Store using the same Apple ID you use to sign up for Match. If you have more than 25,000 tracks, you will need to split your library so that the library you wish to sign up has less than that number.

Jul 11, 2013 9:20 AM in response to varjak pawby Arnberg,Jeez... why does Apple set a threshold anyways? Seems like musical communism. Unless this is mandated by record companies.
Splitting libraries just complicates things such as doubling searching efforts and not being able to shuffle all your music.
Tactics like this will just force people to get their music from somewhere else.

Jul 11, 2013 9:23 AM in response to Arnbergby varjak paw,It's almost certainly a limit set by the terms of Apple's contract with the record companies.
In any case, it is what it is. At this time there's no other option.
