How do I keep everything scaled properly when resizing a slide

Nothing more frustrating than beginning a google search thinking that your problem is common and finding nothing four hours later.

I need to resize a presentation but text sizes and stroke widths maintain their sizes. So, if my slide size is reduced by 50%, my strokes are 200% larger (proportionally). Apple seems to have addressed the text resizing *somewhat* but is there some way to do strokes. This was weeks of work to create and probably 3 full days to correct if I have to do it manually.

An unimaginable oversight, in my opinion. Who would ever WANT strokes to maintain their width while everything else scales!?

Any help would be so appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike
