why doesn't my netflix password save with 5.3 update

I have an Apple TV3 and use it primarily for Netflix. Everything was working fine with 5.2.1 software update but as soon as I upgraded to 5.3, Netflix will no longer save my password. I am able to login and watch a show but after about 30 minutes, if I try to watch another episode, I am take back to the ATV homescreen and then have to enter my Netflix password again.

I have tried restarting, unplugging, and even resetting my ATV3 but nothing seems to fix the issue. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it possible for me to downgrade back to 5.2.1? Is there a setting or something that I am missing. As I have a fairly long email address, this is getting to be quite frustrating having to enter that as well as my password every time I want to watch Netflix.

Any help is greatly appreicated.

I have this problem, but haven't found a solution I'd like to get straight. If you haven't found it on the email page there is a"recent" section that's saved my email it might have saved your's too.

No, I haven't found a solution, what I meant was on your netflix email login screen in the upper right of the box is a tile marked "recient" it has saved my email it might have saved your's too so you won't have to at least enter that every time. I didn't have to do anything to get it to save.

Figured it out. I am in Canada and set up the Apple TV DNS setting so I can get U.S. Netflix. Reset the DNS setting and everything works. Set up DNS for U.S. and won't save login.

Thanks so much! I have changed my DNS to get US netflix as well. I'm sure that's the issue. I will now be able to sleep at night.
