Windows 7 Quicktime error -43

Hi, I have a clean install of Wn7 with an SSD system drive, and an internal Raid composed of 4 spinning drives set at raid level 5.

When I try to play a QT off of the raid I get this error message:

Error -43: a file could not be found (xxx)

XXX = the name of the movie I was trying to play.

I've done a web search and can't find any reference to this error. Has anyone else found this problem? The only way I can play back a movie is to copy it to the system drive.

Thanks

THAT WAS IT!

Thanks soooo much Jacumba! I did a search in the QT discussion area for "Quicktime Error -43" and this article never came up!!! It was exactly the fix. My drive was A: so I changed it to R: for Raid and QT works again.

Now if I can get the Gamma shift on export problem fixed, then it will be completely usable. found a couple of good threads on the problem but none has the solution so far.

Thanks again!
