How do I verify PHP memory_limit value

Question

I have a forum (IPB, Invision Power Board) that requires more than 128 MB in PHP memory_limit.

I have altered the value in the php.ini file, to no avail.

Before I talk to IPB about this, I need to verify that I really *have* altered the memory_limit value.

How do I do this?

google phpinfo.php

you'll find that a simple php file will return all config parameters
