My current iPhone was cloned from my old phone. For reasons I don't understand, my photos were duplicated 2X. One set is in the Photo Library and the other in an album called IPhone Photos. How can I delete the album iPhone Photos? I have tried clearing individual pictures but find no option to allow the delete. I also see no way to delete the entire album. One iTunes I sync with an iPhone photo folder but don't see these albums in the folder.

In the Photo apps on the iphone, when viewing your albums (which include the iphoto photos album?), is there not an edit button in the upper right?
Yes. Next to the iPhone Photo album (right side) there are 3 grey lines. Sort of looks like a paragragh depection.
That's a grab icon, for moving the entry up or down. But at the top of the screen at the right, isn't there an Edit button? My screen mode shows rows of icons for each album, maybe you are looking at the list mode.
I do have the edit button. When I use it all I see is the grab icon.
I don't know the difference between screen mode and list mode. How do I change it?
Perhaps the most direct solution in your case is to change your sync settings such that you don't sync ANY photos -- that will remove them all, except Camera Roll of course. Then select the photo folder that you want to sync via iTunes and apply that change to put only the ones you want back onto the iPhone.

I have this problem too! Does no one know how to delete this Panorama folder? I even edited my old photos and deleted the old folders and resync and still the bloody thing shows up you want to talk about annoying sheesh and talk about a fan of Apple. This is not intuitive the hallmark of the iPhone ---- just annoyed. I am hoping someone from the Apple programming deapartment who worked on this module can explain what is going on here and how to fix it, or some more skilled user who has discovered how to fix this problem.
It would be nice to at least have that option to remove the panorama album, but I think Apple thought it would be cool to help us find all the panoramas more easily. Doesn't necessarily bother me as I like to shoot a lot of them, but I can see both sides. Hope you get your delete option in a future update!
The "Panoramas" category is just a shortcut to your panorama photos you've taken. These are not duplicates of what is in your Camera Roll, just a shortcut (like a playlist is to music).
If you want to remove the Panoramas category, remove the panorama pictures from your Camera Roll and the category will disappear.

Hi everyone, here are all methods to delete photos from iPhone and how to delete photo albums.

I think I did the same if not similar thing to you, If you've sycn'd your iphone/photos over itunes, then you have to:
1) Plug your iphone into your computer, let it open in itunes
2) In the right hand corner there will be a button with 'iphone' on it - click on it
3) Click on the 'photos' tab
4) Check to see whether 'Sync photos from' is ticked - (if it is..... this is why your folders from your computer are being uploaded onto your iphone when it is plugged in and sync'ing)
5) Check also to see if the 'All folders' and 'Selected folders' are selected
6) Untick any boxes that are ticked here and then apply the changes/ sync your phone
This worked for me and you won't lose the photos/videos that are on your camera roll/photo stream/videos on phone, this was also for an ios7 system....
