updates
My iphone5 will not download updates from the App Store. It says they are installing, but they don't and I can't get it to finish. I have tried turning off the phone and turning it on again and it doesn't help. Any ideas?

When you say that you've turned it off, do you mean that you got the red "swipe to power off" screen, did so, and then started the iPhone back up? If not, give that a try. If you have and that hasn't helped, try a reset:

If that still doesn't help, you may need to restore the iPhone, though someone else here may have additional suggestions.
