computer will not power on

Imac will NOT power on. Tried different outlet & even unconnected/reconnected moden, keyboard, etc. Could this be my power cord went bad? HELP!!

iMac, iOS 6.1.4, Intel

If there is not any sound or video that means it's probably a power supply. Nothng a forum can do, take it in for repair.
