mu i-phpne screen has gone blank. Wont do anything with power button or front button. I i mute the mute symbol comes onto screen, otherwise black screen.
Is there a brightness control that I may have darkened by mistake?

If with Brightness turned all the way down, you still see the dim screen. Not a black screen.
Settings>Brightness&Wallpaper

Follow the 3R's- if a restart does not solve your problem proceed
User troubleshooting is:
1.restart, ie power off/on,
