Redeem gift card

Open the App Store

Go under the "Featured" tab

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page

There you should see a button that sayd "Redeem"

Copy the code from the card into the designated area.

Hi,
I received a gift card- and after many attempts to add it to my itunes, I realised that it's actually an "Apple" gift card, not an itunes card.
Is there a way I can covert it from an "apple" gift card so I can redeem it in itunes?

I know the Apple Store sells iTunes gift cards. Try calling the Apple Store nearest you and ask them if you can purchase iTunes cards with an Apple Store gift card.

Thanks a lot - I tried this option and chatted with an apple agent online.

Unfortunately he confirmed that the apple voucher cannot be used in itunes store, nor can it be used in the apple store to buy an itunes gift card ( you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card).
So looks like I'm snookered 🙂

That's too bad. I used to get Target gift cards at work all the time and I would take them to Target and purchase iTunes gift cards.
