Any suggesstions?

First try starting up in Safe Mode by holding the shift key down immediately after pushing the start button until you see the gear spinning for awhile.

Are you still using OS X 10.6.5?

This is a very different issue than the web-based scam being discussed here. This issue is unrelated, as the FBI ransomware scam doesn't actually involve any malware. You should really start your own topic, describing what you see in detail.

Have tried that.. nothing worked. Finally rebooted from disc.. the original OS drive is locked, unmountable and unrepairable. I erased another drive, reinstalled the OS and replaced

most files from back-up.
There are only a couple recent files left on the unmountabe one that I would like to get back.. but not sure if that's possible.

It's only coincidentally related. The FBI scam didn't cause the problem... but it did cause you to do a hard shutdown, which probably caused the other problems. Since this topic isn't about that issue, and has been going on for six months, you'll get better help to start a new topic of your own, so fresh eyes can look at it.

Did you first use the back button to get off that page?

There is nothing to remove. It isn't a virus or even malware, just a javascript that shows you that window. You can also dismiss the window 99 times and it will stop so you can reset Safari.

I just had the same thing pop up on my MacBook Air with the FBI Ransomware but I was able to close out of it. After readying everyone's comments, I don't have the option to click on "Reset Safari" on my lab. I have the OS X Yosemite (10.10.2) Software and since I don't have the option to click on the button that says "Reset Safari", I clicked on Safari, then Preferences, then I clicked on Privacy, and then I clicked on the button that said Remove All Website And Data. Then Under Privacy I looked under "Cookies and Website Data" and made sure the option "Allow from Websites I visit" to be checked in. After that I clicked on the button Security still under Preferences, and made sure that everything was checked in under "Fraudulent Sites, Web Content and Internet plug-ins". Lastly, I clicked on Safari again and then clicked on the button Clear History and Website Data. And I clicked on that about 100 times. Since I don't have the option to click on a button that says "Reset Safari" did I get rid of the virus or whatever the ransomware was that popped up out of my computer? If someone can answer me back letting me know if I did and if I didn't how can I that would be amazing. Thank you so much for your time.

Yes, although it was neither a virus nor true ransom-ware, just a cached web page that re-opened each time you launched Safari. There was never any danger to anything on your computer as long as you did call the number and either give them money or grant access to your computer.

And you are correct that Apple removed Reset Safari in Safari 8, and the Clear History and Website Data selection took it's place. I'm not sure what might have motivated that "feature".

Wait you said "There was never any danger to anything on your computer as long as you did call the number and either gave them money or grant access to your computer." I didn't call any number on that page or give them money or anything like that, I just closed out of the webpage as fast as I could and cleared out everything like I said above. So now my computer isn't safe since I did not call the number and give them money or grant access to my computer? I'm sorry I am a little confused.
