Can you sync photos to an iPad from both Aperture and Pictures Folder? I know there are options for both but I have photos on both Aperture and Pictures Folder that I want to put on my iPad.

If I select Aperture as the option to sync for photos I can't select photos from the Pictures folder. Currently I have my photos synced to Aperture but I want to add photos from Pictures Folder. It doesn't really look like it's possible to add stuff as it would delete my photos from Aperture if I resync with the Pictures Folder. Really frustrating because I don't want to have to add those photos to my Aperture library as I'm currently moving away from using Aperture to Lightroom. So all my older photos are in Aperture but most of my newer images are saved in my Pictures Folder. Thanks for any help with this.
