Can't connect to Windows (Incorrect login or pass, SMB)

I have MBP (10.8.4) and Windows 7 Ultimate machine. I can't connect to it because of incorrect password or login. I tried to create several users on windows machine and even created quest user and it also does not work. On the windows machine:

  • network discovery turned on
  • file and printer sharing turned on
  • public sharing turned on
  • firewall switched off

Also I can connect to Filezilla's ftp server and RDC mac client works fine but SMB don't want to work at all.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Turn off the Homegroup option on the Windows system. Put it in a Workgroup and set the Mac to the same workgroup.

If you have the Win 7 Homegroup feature tured on you can' connect by username and password. Also there is a option in Advanced Sharing for Use User accounts and Passwords instead of allowing Windows to control this. Set it to that option. Also Turn on password protected sharing.
