Jul 14, 2013 7:36 AM in response to Maspecksby mende1,Welcome to Apple Support Communities
When you spill liquid, everything can get damaged. See > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-5511
From what you say, it looks like liquid affected the logic board, so the best thing you can do is to get a new MacBook because the repair will be expensive if the MacBook Pro can be repaired. Unfortunately, there's not too much to tell you about it

Jul 14, 2013 7:38 AM in response to Maspecksby OGELTHORPE,Bring it to an Apple Store or an AASP and have them evaluate it. Then you will be in a position to make an informed decision.
Do not use it.
Ciao,.

Jul 14, 2013 7:39 AM in response to Maspecksby Michael Black,If you take it to Apple, they will give you a free estimate of repairs. It is only an estimate, as it is very difficult to evaluate liquid damage without disassemling the whole device. As mende1 says, you may find the estimate is very expensive, so a new machine may be a better option.
The spill likely shorted out one or more major components, so you may well find the entire guts of the computer is damaged and needs to be replcase.
