GarageBand issues with playing back what I just recorded.

When I use GarageBand on my MacBook Air OS X, I record my voice but when I play it back I don't hear anything. It even shows exactly where I made sounds and when I play it back I see the volume bar thing move but no sound comes. I've tried new files but nothing works!

Actually I quit GarageBand and now it works fine. But to both of those questions, it was no, isteveus. Thanks, though.
