Ticking metronome sound in audio

Hi, I have 2 of my mp3 audio files in my timeline and whenever I play my animation there is a ticking like metronome sound. I don't know how else to describe it but it's really annoying and it's not actually supposed to be there meaning when I play it with quicktime, it plays it normally. Is there anyway to fix this issue in Final cut?
