Q: Logic Express - I bought and installed Logic Express 7.2.3 way back when... Now I would like to move ti to my new MacBook Pro - how do I do it please?

Please can someone advise how I reload an old version of Logic Express on a new Mac? Many thanks

Hello KarmicCC,

If you still have access to the old Mac, you might try using Migration Assistant to transfer applications to the new Mac.

However, Logic Express 8 and earlier are PowerPC applications which are no longer supported (in 10.7 and 10.8).

Logic 8 WILL run in 10.7 or 10.8; you just need to use Pacifist to install it on those platforms.
