Protip: don't forget to keep your Mac turned on and set it's power saving settings to:
1. Not go to sleep.
2. Start up again after a power failure.
3. Once you have everything setup go to a local coffee shop of a friend's house to test your setup.
optional step: Train your dog to help you troubleshoot any issues you may have in case of emergency.
