In my iPhone 4 maps not working properly .I can't search way to next loucation

close the map app by double clicking home button, tap and hold icon, then click (x) in left top corner.
also can you turn off and on your iphone, does that help?
also reset it by holding home button and top button for 10 seconds. how about now?
