Need help updating my 2008 iMac.

We have an iMac that we bought around 2008. Recently, we have been trying to update it to get more things like the new itunes and Mac app store but it says our software is not up to date. I looked in my software updates and it says there isn't any. Can anyone help?

Hey kaylen_maier

What it sounds like is that you are running a version of the Operating System that is before OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8). I have provided a link to get the upgrade that you need. It would also be a good idea to ensure that you meet the system requirements before purchasing the upgrade.

Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
