Why does stocks app have "error retrieving chart" message

This has been going on for about 2 weeks now. It happens on the Stocks app for the charts over 1 week long. the 1 day and 1 week charts work OK for all stocks. The FTSE chart works for all periods. The "Error Retrieving chart" message appears for all other charts.

I know this is supposed be fed from Yahoo data, but the yaho website appears to be working. I've tried a soft reset and removing and adding stocks. Any thoughts?

I've been getting it too, for US and Singapore stocks, as well as for currencies.

Is there an equally simple stocks app in the App Store? Most of the ones I've found are either costly or terrible or over-detailed.

I'm getting it as well but only with UK stocks. US ones work fine.

I am in New Zealand and likewise the US stocks work but London and NZ don't.

The data is available in my portfolio app so it is not a stock market issue.
