I set my iphone 5 on do not disturb and for some reasons ANYONE calls gets through ! And yes I did set it to NOONE option but it just doesn't work! Does anyone know anything about it or is it just a fact of life without Steve Jobs?

The Do not disturb option will only function when the iPhone is in sleep mode, is this the case?
The DND function only works when the phone is in sleep mode.

Setting ---Notifications ---- do not disturb----- allow call from No One.
Then I go to
Setting---- do not disturb---- ON
that is it! Anything missing here?
Do I have to do anything else?

Have you specified a time (from - to ) that you want DND activated ? (Like 22:00 until 07:00)
Yes, 23:00 to 06:00! But it just doesn't work!

Press the power button to lock the iPhone then set it down.
The iPhone must be locked (not only sleeping) for DND to work.

dont think you are missing anythie there,hmmmmmm try setting up a time schedule for the DND feature to work and then test it.
this happened to me once so i set a scheduled time and since then its working well
