Purchase history : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC - Apple Support

You can only see your full purchase history in iTunes on your computer. You can't see it on the iPad.

you go to apple store on any of your devices and select purchesd and from there you see everything

Yes, you can see all of your purchased apps, but I am talking about date of purchase and the price of the app. You cannot see that in the App Store purchase tab.

To me - the date of the purchase and the price of the app is the "full purchase history". However, the information that you are providing might be all that the OP wants and needs to see.

You will need to sort through it on your computer in iTunes. The information that you need is in here.

Why not ?

Bloody apple sell a product (I pad) make us use I tunes then tell us it doesn't work correctly ?

But it isn't that guide doesn't work for the new PC itunes! I really need to find some transaction/order numbers but that guide no longer works!

App Store>updates>purchased>my purchaces

That isn't a purchase history, it only shows apps that are still in the store and not hidden from the cloud (and not bought prior to changing country)

I understand that this is the only way it works.... but I fail to see the logic in it. 😕

It's the only way to see your full purchase history, but you can view the last 90 days purchases on your iPad via http://reportaproblem.apple.com
