Bonzai3d won't start

Hi!

I am trying to run a CAD program called Bonzai3D by AutoDesSys. I'm on a late 2012 Mac mini with 16 Gb RAM and OSX version 10.8.4.

When I try to start the program, the program icon only bounces a few times, then disappears, and the program never starts.

I have tried to run it on two different Mac minis and both are acting the same way. I can't recall any other program doing this ever before.

According to Autodessys, the Console seems to indicate that this is a system permissions issue.

Allowing OSX to run apps from anywhere did not help either.

Does anyone have any ideas?
