Outlook Sync Issue With iCloud

I am seeing double entries on my Outlook 2010 Calendar after setting up iCloud control panel. If I enter an appointment in my default calendar, it properly syncs to iphone and ipad, but past entries are showing duplicates. How can I combine them all so that everything is being synced once? Turning icloud sync on/off doesn't seem to work.
