Sorting table with mixed number and letter data

I am trying to sort a table which has a column of data containing numbers and numbers with letters. Pages does not sort in the preferred manner and not the same as in Numbers. Numbers sorts correctly.

My example data:

Series of numbers and number/letter combinations in the desired order: 463, 465, 467, 469, 471, 473, 475, 475A, 475B, 477, 477A, 477B, 477C

The order that Pages creates: 463, 465, 467, 469, 471, 473, 475, 477, 475A, 475B, 477A, 477B, 477C

In other words, 475A and 475B should immediately follow 475 and 477A, 477B, 477C should follow 477.

Any thoughts?
