Squeezing the top of the iPhone 5 Makes it restart/crash.

Okay, so i started a discussion about my phone crashing and got a reply to take it to an apple store. Well I did, they just said to restore it as new iphone. Did that.. I thought it worked. but you know what? squeezing the top of the iphone where the ambient light sensor is... even very lightly makes it crash with vertical stripes everyones talking about. WOW. If anyone finds this also to be true, reply!

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

My iPad 2 now does the same thing as your iPhone 5.

A squeeze ( medium to heavy and sometimes a light touch) will trigger a crash and restart.

Maybe a micro crack in a chip or wire lead or a board.

This is definitely a hardware issue.

I will not buy the idea of a software reload fixing this.

My iPad is 14 months old.

Any recourse for me?
