Make sure you have airplane mode off. You can have airplane mode on for it to work it just does not work as well. Also check the router. I take it you have a computer or something to post your question, so maybe ask an Apple professional live through the website.

Are you saying you can't connect to wifi or that you can't find the setting for wifi? Go to settings>Wifi and turn it on and choose a router.
