I pre-ordered an album on my ipod a few weeks and it just came out today. When I got to the store and clicked on the album it says purchased. I can't find how to download the album on my ipod.

I got the e-mail and when I click on it it takes me to the itunes store, I go to the download and it says no active downloads. Then when I search for the abulm all the songs say purchased.
Oh my gosh!!!! this is my exact problem! I have googled every possible way on how to just download my item and still nothing! if anyone else has advice on how to help please do!!
Hey. I finally got my music! I actually got it a while ago but I just tried what they told me again and again and it finally worked. I'm not sure if I did anything different. Maybe just make sure you are connected to the internet and then on your ipod's settings for music, click on downloads and refresh it. I'm pretty sure that's what I did. I hope this help!

I have the same problem with an iPod Touch 5th generation, trying to download a pre-ordered Kids Bop 25. After an hour of trying various suggestions, I finally went to my account, canceled the pre-order, and bought it again. iTunes seemed very confused, because the pre-order had allowed me to download some of the songs available earlier, then would never download the rest. When I tried to buy it again, it offered me a discount on the album, because I already had some of the individual songs. That didn't work either. I finally just bought the whole thing over again, for full price, which means I ended up buying the whole album PLUS three of the individual songs on the album. Very, very annoying.
HERS HOW TO FIX!! To download the preorder you have to go into ITUNES PREFERENCES→CLICK THE STORE TAB→check the box that says AUTOMATICALLY CHECK FOR AVAILABLE DOWNLOADS also check DOWNLOAD PRE-ORDERS WHEN AVAILABLE. click ok and the albums and songs you pre-orderd should begin to download. This should fix all these issues with the preordering.
