When Modified image becomes 0kb. I've uploaded images from Canon g10 but recently bought a Nikon point and shoot. I have iPhoto 8.

I have iPhoto 8. Recently, when making minor edits to an image, e.g., definitions, sharpness, contrast, cropping, the modified image becomes 0kb, zero kilo bytes. This seems to be happening with uploads from my new Nikon point and shoot camera, Cool pix 5200. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix it? I have rebuilted the library but the problem persists. I have upgraded to Snow Lepard but the problem still persists. I will try to upgrade to the latest version of iPhoto, is it 11?

As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

Thank you for the suggestion. I just tried created a test library and imported some of photos. The problem still exists. I do some minor edits, in this case, cropped and increased sharpness and saved, ie hit "done", and the photo's size becomes 0kb. I also rebuilt the library and the problem still persists.
