Q: Songs Visible but Not Playable

Hi!

I've had a similar thing happen in iTunes 11.0.4 a few times now and I'm not sure why it's doing it. Every once and a while, I'll go to play an album I purchased in the iTunes Store, but some of the titles will be greyed out. If I tell the album to play, it will skip those titles, but if I double click on them, they play.

I looked in my iTunes Music folder and they're all there. I also looked at their info in iTunes and they have the proper email address for my iTunes account (the same one for the songs that aren't greyed out).

If I go into the iTunes Store, I don't have the option to purchase the greyed out songs. It says "Play" instead.

I looked at my iPhone, which is set to sync all of my music and only the non-greyed out songs were there. When I go to the iTunes Store on my iPhone, i can redownload them through the Purchased section.

It's really odd and annoying when I want to go play an album or especially when I'm not home and want to listen on my phone, but the songs aren't there.

Has anyone else had similar issues? I've done the basic stuff (restart iTunes, etc) but I can't even figure out why it's greying them out in the first place.
