Trade in one of your iPods!
There is also a new Mainstage, Version 3 - http://www.apple.com/uk/mainstage/
The page does not say, if there are new JamPacks included.
It would be good to know, if MainStage 3 is adding something new to GarageBand, and if it still will install the JamPacks to be used with GarageBand and Logic.
I'll be watching this !! Would love to learn more.
It seems both are only avalible as downloads. I like to have a disk as back up and I have 2 iMacs .
Would everyone think your older Logic Pro files could just be droped into the new Logic Pro X ?

What about having a disk as a back up. Anyone worry about that ? I've had a few iMacs gag over the years and had to get new ones. Wouldn't want to have to buy more downloads. I also have 2 iMacs ...
Thanks leonieDF ....

you wouldn't; when you log in with your account, the store has a record that you bought the software, just download it again, or on the 2nd machine
Thanks again HangTime ...
I haven't used Time Machine ... I'm no computer wizz ... so I don't fool stuff unless I need to. LOL
But it's good to know I can download it again ...
From what I've read Logic Pro X sounds like it's cool so I may just get it.

if you plug a drive into your computer, you'll be asked if you want to use it for TIme Machine. if you say yes... you're done. there's nothing more to do

i would already be messing with it were it not for the fact that i'm stuck back in OS X 10.6.8 (Logic X requires 10.8)
