Logic Pro X 32 bit plugins? Seems that they aren't recognized.
Just got Logic Pro X, and after running the plugin scan a few of my 32 bit plugins aren't being recognized. Any suggestions?
Logic Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

They are no longer supported, no more 32 bit bridge. If you really need them, there are a couple third party options to make them work.

Thanks Mike,
Makes sense. Do you have any suggestions for a good third party option?
thanks,
Daniel
The ones I'm aware of are jbridge and Vienna Ensemble Pro. VEP would be pricey to get just for that.
It might also be possible by running them in a secondary app and routing the audio and midi, something like Mainstage.
Yes.. VEP5 while pricey indeed if you just used it for the purpose of running 32bit plugins within LPX, does work great.
JBridge, not so much I gather....
Wow no more 32bit bridge. whatever it was ugly anyway. Companys had the last 4 years to get 64bit ready.
Yah, JBridge is crashing for me. Lame.
I've been trying to get in touch with Nugen for years about their Visualizer plugin which is stuck in 32 bit. No word. Lame. :-)
Heres a video of Logic Pro X running 32 bit via VEPro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i9TryWYbUA&feature=youtu.be
Yes.. I have been successfully running various 32bit plugins such as Sylenth within VEP5 in LPX without any issues of note.
Thats not going to cut it for me. i surrender no more 32 bit
I had some success with AU Lab and posted about it here:

It's certainly a very imperfect "solution" but it might be of use to a few people.
