Just trying to connect my iPad with my iPhone per Personal Hörspiel;
iPad can use every net, but not iPhone hotspot.
Should this be a matter of ower world?

What errors or behavior are you seeing?
Does your carrier support this function?
No alert, no message. iPad shows the name of the iPone in the list of WLANs and immediately or in few seconds shrimps it away, as it would have been never here.
Clearly without any message.
On Desktops there would be a log file, but on iOS? Would be nice… (feedback to apple ;))

The problem is not resolved, the WLAN is away again.
If you Reset the iPhone does the problem change any at all?
In my view (edited) a reset is not realy nessecairy, because with some trials the connection becomes established, goes, comes - iphone and ipad on table. Maybe a reset (shooting or shuting down and switching on?) would not disturb the task.
It last much, much time and is totally inefficient.

I don't really care about your view, a Reset is just holding down the home and sleep button, waiting for the Apple logo, then letting go of the buttons. It is like a reboot of a computer. I have to do so on my iPhone sometimes when using it as a hotspot.
This costs some minutes; maybe, no matter for you, and somehow the connection is established otherwise too. I do this every day or every second day I am really frustrated and disappointed. MacOS up to 9 had been masters in connectivity. What have I done to have such troubles?

It costs maybe 40 seconds and on mine it is not necessary every day. Does it resolve the situation or not. Are you just here to rant or are you actually looking for assistance?

(at 19:14), in the meantime I could work with delay and now I am back at home on my desktop (21:19).
And the error is not to be recalled, though I will remember for the future to restart next time. There are 23 applications started and only a few of them I know why I had launched them, on the other hand I should restart for networking. using this part since four years approximately and there where several updates on the iOS.
Obviousely no one but me has troubles with networking between Apple devices, is it so? Then all the reason is lying by me

During any given week, I connect to about a dozen different WiFi networks with an iPad, and sometimes an iPhone. Have also traveled with the iPad both in and out of the US, using WiFi requently. Never had an aiisue.
I have had issues with iPads and other devices connecting with my personal hotspot but most often they just can't see the hotspot, have only had one occassion where a device could see it momentarily and then it disappeared. Turning off the hostpot, Resetting the iPhone, then turning it back on fixed it and it does not happen everytime. You can also sometimes turn the hotspot off and back on alone. It is a small nuisance, I have reported it and hopefully sometime in the future it will be improved. And there are people here who have posted regarding the issue and I know others who have had the same issue.
