I purchased Logic Pro a few months ago. Really? Will I not get to download the newer version free of charge?

I don't know who wrote that email.. but whomever it was, obviously doesn't have a basic grip on English comprehension. (See the underlined portions of the quotes from the original post)
Therefore, to me it looks somewhat 'fake'....
I can also confirm that the described method doesn't work......
Oh, it's real alright, but it does seem like just a canned message and is inaccurate.
