How do I convert PDF to word on a mac?

Hi,

I'm new to apple products and i'm struggling to find how i convert a pdf file to word. On a PC the option automatically popped up on the file or edit and right click. There is no right click on a mac from what I can see and there is no option in file or edit.

Any help grately received.

Thanks in advance

I think that You will need an extra application like Adobe Acrobat. Converting PDF to Word is not so easy (on any OS). I tried this once on a Windows PC, but the result was so bad, that I gave up. I don't know how many documents You have and what You need them for. But sometimes it is just quicker to just copy the text from the PDF and to paste it in a word editor and to edit it there.
Also, you may try this tutorial about how to convert PDF files to Word on Mac. Once they're converted, you can open the files Microsoft Word or a compatible word processor.
Hope it can do you a favor.

I've found that some of the non-Adobe converters (and some of the free online converters) don't do such a good job as Acrobat Pro. If you want to try it out, you can download one of the free 30-day trial packages from Adobe that include Acrobat Pro X (such as Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard),

but it is really very expensive, but there are many other third pary PDF converter progarms out there:

When I need to convert pdf to Word document, I usually choose to use Adobe reader to directly convert pdf to Word document in doc or docx file. While things are not so easy for Word to pdfconversion on mac system. Broadly speaking, there are two ways in total to convert Word to pdf: one is to use a certain online free word converting tool that allows to convert Word to pdf; and the other way is to use a free word to pdf trail version to render and convert pdf within .net framework.
