Airport time capsule status light flashes amber
Network connection is ok, but the airport time capsule status light flashes amber. What should I do?

Open up Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the amber dot
A message will appear to tell you why the Time Capsule is complaining
