error downloading

A few times now I have attempted to download a digital copy and I get an "error" message that tells me I do not have enough access to download it? I have the most current version of iTunes and am the primary user of this computer. I have no idea why it'd do that, If it comes down to it, will I be able to re-enter my code or is it now invalid?
