Q: Will iCloud back up photos on a locked iphone?

Currently my iPhone is locked (forgot password). Problem is I'm hoping to save photos before resetting. I had iCloud but was running out of space for many new pics. Is there a way to expand iCloud memory for my locked phone and have all pictures sent to iCloud without having to unlock the phone? Thanks for any help.

    Take a look at this article named iCloud: Backup and restore overview found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4859.

    Backup overview

    iCloud automatically backs up the most important data on your device using iOS 5 or later. Once you have enabled Backup on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in Settings > iCloud > Backup & Storage, it will run on a daily basis as long as your device:

    • is connected to Internet over Wi-Fi
    • is connected to a power source
    • has the screen locked
